Delivery & Collection - Site Access & Safety Policy

1. Road Access

• •Access to the site must be via a well-maintained tarred or gravel road suitable for delivery trucks.
• •If our driver believes the road access is unsafe, they will pause the delivery and contact Rooney's Distribution for further instructions before proceeding.
• •Unsafe access may result in delays or alternative arrangements.

2. Parking & Offloading Distance

• •All equipment is manually carried from the delivery vehicle to the installation site.
• •Due to the heavy nature of our equipment, the maximum acceptable carrying distance is 50 metres from the truck to the site.
• •If access exceeds this distance, additional charges, delays, or alternative arrangements may apply.

3. Site Conditions

• •The installation area must be clear, level, stable, and suitable for safe setup.
• •If our crew feels the site is not safe or suitable, the supervisor will contact Rooney's Distribution before continuing.
• •Unsuitable site conditions may result in delays or non-installation.

4. Weather Conditions

• •Our crews are not expected to work in unsafe weather conditions, including:

• -Heavy rain
• -Electrical storms / lightning
• -High winds

• •If weather conditions affect safety, the crew will notify Rooney's Distribution and adjust the schedule where necessary.

5. Underground & Overhead Services

• •Installation areas must be free of underground and overhead services, including electrical cables and water pipes.
• •Any known services must be clearly indicated to the crew supervisor before installation begins.
